These Chicken Fingers Will Change Your Life Forever!

Ingredients:
1 lb chicken breasts (about 3-4 pieces)
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
2 large eggs
1 1/2 cups breadcrumbs (preferably panko for extra crunch)
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional, for extra flavor)
Vegetable oil (for frying)
Instructions:
1. Prepare the chicken:
Cut the chicken breasts into strips, about 1-inch wide, or to your desired size.
2. Set up the breading stations:
In one shallow bowl, combine the flour, salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder.
In a second bowl, beat the eggs.
In a third shallow bowl, mix the breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese (if using).
3. Bread the chicken:
Dip each chicken strip into the flour mixture, coating it evenly.
Then, dip it into the beaten eggs, letting any excess drip off.
Finally, coat the chicken strip in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to ensure the breadcrumbs stick well.
4. Fry the chicken fingers:
Heat about 1/2 inch of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat (about 350°F/175°C).
Once the oil is hot, add the chicken strips in batches, ensuring not to overcrowd the pan. Fry for about 3-4 minutes per side or until golden brown and cooked through (the internal temperature of the chicken should reach 165°F/74°C).
Use tongs to transfer the cooked chicken fingers to a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil.
5. Serve:
Serve your crispy chicken fingers hot with your favorite dipping sauces like honey mustard, barbecue sauce, ranch, or ketchup.
Tips:
You can bake the chicken fingers instead of frying them if you prefer a healthier option. To bake, preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C), place the breaded chicken strips on a parchment-lined baking sheet, and bake for 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway through.
For extra flavor, marinate the chicken strips in buttermilk for at least 30 minutes before breading them.
Enjoy your homemade chicken fingers!
